What play649 is, and is not
play649 shows lottery results and statistics, checks numbers against past draws, generates wheels, and lets you keep records of your tickets and of group play.
play649 is not a lottery operator or retailer and is not connected to OLG, WCLC, Jogos Santa Casa or any lottery. It does not sell tickets, take bets, collect or hold money, or pay prizes.
Group play is a record-keeping tool. The organiser buys the tickets from an official retailer, collects the members' money and shares out any prize, directly with the members. play649 takes no cut and is not a party to those arrangements.
Results are unofficial
Results, prize tiers and amounts are taken from the official operators' public websites and checked automatically, but mistakes and delays can happen. A result we cannot confirm is marked as not yet confirmed. Always check your ticket with the official lottery or a retailer before throwing it away or claiming a prize. Only the official lottery decides whether a ticket wins.
Your account
You must be of legal age to play the lottery where you live (18 or over in Ontario and Portugal). Keep access to your email address secure: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
Records you enter (tickets, contributions, picks) are your responsibility. The organiser of a group is responsible for the amounts they mark as received and for the tickets they buy.
Do not misuse the site: no automated scraping that burdens it, no attempts to access other people's accounts, no unlawful use.
Availability and changes
play649 is provided free of charge and “as is”. We may change, suspend or end any part of it. We will try to give notice of changes that affect your records.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, play649 is not liable for losses arising from reliance on results, prize information or group records shown on the site, or from disputes between group members. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law. [Lawyer to review this clause for Ontario and Portugal.]
